Hey guys! It's release day for A Court of Broken Promises by Bella Leigh Michaels!! I am so excited for her and the fact that this book is FINALLY out! I will link all of the ways that you can order the book down below but let's talk so more about this book since I reviewed this before starting my blog.

So, the book starts of with the main character, Kaia, is jail for a crime that she had no knowledge about. But then in an unlikely event, she is broken out of jail by a group of five unlikely men, the major one being Ash, the next in line to the throne of Adaria and the boy who she has always had an attraction to but also kind of hated. Though on the way out of the kingdom, the group loses a member and it hits Kaia hard.

While on the run from the kingdom, Kaia slowly starts to get to know each of the men before she starts to develop feelings for each of them. Ash (fire user): she has known him all of her life and ever since she a teenager, she has had a strong attraction to him, even though they seem to hate one another. (Though all he wants to do is keep her safe and keep his promise to her father.) EZ: a fun, loveable, air user that makes way too many flirty jokes towards Kaia. Griffin: a strong and silent earth who Kaia has seen herself being able to lean on for support. Aiden: a water user who left the kingdom with a secret.

Kaia's life as always been in danger (since she had never had any magic ability) but now a council member is out to kill her. The group of five meet a few members of the rebellion and it only brings more secrets that Kaia's father never told her. Can Kaia and her group of men figure out what is causing the decreasing magical abilities? Will she be able to clear her father's name? Which member of the group will she choose to have as her keeper? Will she even be given the choice?

This why choose not only has GREAT world building but it also will keep you wanting more! This book does leave on a heart-breaking cliffhanger, but it will only make you want to read book two when it comes out next year!
