October TBR!

Image
Here is everything that I am planning on trying to read this month! I want to finish the Three Dark Crowns series, so book 3 and 4 are a must! Then this book was not originally on my TBR for the year, but I HAVE to read the new Percy Jackson book! I also want to read The Unexpected Everything! I also want to read the Queen's Council series (especially before book 3 comes out)! So book 1, 2, and 3 are a must! After this series I want to finish the month off with the Bone Witch series! I do have some others that I am hoping to get to... but these are the ones that I will for sure get through... hopefully.

September Reads!

Image
Hi, so I started this blog in the middle of the month, but I want to start doing a monthly reads. So, this will be a monthly post that I will publish at the end of the month every month that just talks a bit about what I have read that month. Starting the month of September, I read Sarah Dessen's second to last release. This was the first book I also finished this month! I started reading Once and For All on September 1st and finished it on September 6th . I also gave it 4 stars and just greatly enjoyed the plot of the book and how Sarah always touches on real and tough issues. The second book I had finished was an ARC copy of A Court of Broken Promises by Bella Leigh Michaels. This book was released on September 19th and you can find it on ANY platform for eBook . I had actually started reading this book on August 21st and finished it on September 8th . This book was also given 4 stars and I loved the world building that Bella was able to do just in book 1! Though, this book...

One Dark Throne Review!

Image
⭐⭐⭐⭐ I really enjoyed book 2 and getting answers for some of my questions! But as you guys know... Let’s get into it… okay, Mirabella. The fact that she originally believed that Arsinoe tried to kill her with the bear and then she went to go and try to kill her sister… only to not be able to do so! Then Billy being punished for trying to save Arsinoe in book 1 is sent to live with Mirabella. At the same time, she gets her heart broken by Joseph because no matter what it was always going to be Jules (which is what I had figured from the get go). Billy is also the whole reason why she stopped wanting to kill Arisnoe because he told her the truth about the bear attack. Then when they were all at the festival and she thought Katharine killed Arisnoe was heartbreaking! And only to find out her sister is actually a poisoner queen! What I really loved is how Mirabella would do anything to keep Joseph and Jules alive because of how much her sister and Billy loved them. To be honest, I re...

Slash or Pass Review!

Image
Okay, Slash or Pass by Tylor Paige came out on September 22! And down below I will tell you where all you can buy a copy but review time!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5 🔥🔥🔥🔥.5 Holy cow! This book was soooooo good guys! I’m not kidding! This book references one of my favorite slasher films and the grouping of Eisley, Kanas, and Constantine was amazing and done so well! I loved learning the back story of the Church and the Family and being able to go back in time to add context to the overall story was so good. Also the spice level was through the roof! I’m not kidding guys, you should totally read this book if you like slasher movies and spicy books! Seeing exactly why Ghostface goes after each victim allows the reader to really understand their motives. And Eisley’s friends… I hated them soooo much! Normally I don’t root for the bad guys… but really they are just extremely morally gray! And I mean… who wouldn’t want two hot men wanting you???? Where to buy!!! Ebook and physical copy:  Amazon ...

Duchess Material!

Image
So, I'm a bit late on getting this posted... but Duchess Material CAME OUT!!!! I will post down below where all you can find a copy at... but first, my review from a couple of months ago when I was an arc reviewer for this book. ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5 Omg! I loved this book! It was so adorable and the love that Natalie and Ed as well as Winston and Lucy have is just adorable! I disliked how George acted with learning about Winston and Lucy since I felt like he was putting off the energy that she didn’t deserved to be happy. The biggest thing that I’m looking forward to is seeing what comes of Natalie and Ed and if they might become engaged by the middle or end of book 3. I also felt like this book out shines book 1 since it builds even more on the relationships that formed mid to the end of book 1. Where to buy! Physical only:  Barnes&Noble Ebook and physical:  Amazon Is also on KU!!!

Three Dark Crowns Book Review

Image
This is a few days late because I was moving but here is my review of Three Dark Crowns! I finished this on September 20th and I gave it ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5 stars. While this is the first book in the series, I always read the prequels first because I like to get to know the characters before hitting the first book. This allows me to be able to really have a huge understanding on the wants and needs of all three Queens and their towns. I'm going to start with the eldest Queen. Mirabella is the elemental queen who everyone says will win the crown. But her issue is that she still loves her sisters and she doesn't want to kill them. Her loves goes beyond her sisters to her foster family. She wants everyone to be safe and happy. But when she starts to realize that her dreams are real, she decides to run away. While on the road, she saves Joseph, the naturalist boy that is friends with Arsinoe. They have a wild night and fall for each other but Joseph is torn between his new feelings for her an...
