A bit about me!

 Hi, my name is Ashley Freeman and one of my greatest passions in life is reading. I don't know about you guys, but reading has always been held so near and dear to my heart and I will forever love it.

This post is supposed to be about me and frankly, I do hate talking about myself but I'm going to try. I was originally born and raised in Midlothian, Texas which is a tiny town and I am the youngest of three girls. My mom and dad were together up until I turned 16, but to this day, them getting a divorce was the best decision that they could've ever made. I have two lovely older sisters and as well as two older step-sisters once my dad had married my step-mom back in 2013. Five years ago, I met the love of my life, Daniel, and we both packed up our lives at the end of 2020 to move back to his hometown, Phoenix, Arizona. I'm so thankful that I have him in my life and next year on our anniversary, I will become his wife. I am also still a college student - I know that kind of seems crazy at the age of 29 - but it took me a bit of time to really decide what I want to do in life, which is to become a teacher. Children are our future.

Now, onto why I have decided yet again to try my hand at book blogging... since I enjoy reading so much, as well as making TikTok videos on bookish content, I wanted a space all my own to put my thoughts, ideas, and opinions down. One of my favorite genres is reading young adult and that's because it was mostly all I could really stand to read for the longest time; but now that I'm older, I want to branch out into other areas.
