Slash or Pass Review!

Image
Okay, Slash or Pass by Tylor Paige came out on September 22! And down below I will tell you where all you can buy a copy but review time!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5 🔥🔥🔥🔥.5 Holy cow! This book was soooooo good guys! I’m not kidding! This book references one of my favorite slasher films and the grouping of Eisley, Kanas, and Constantine was amazing and done so well! I loved learning the back story of the Church and the Family and being able to go back in time to add context to the overall story was so good. Also the spice level was through the roof! I’m not kidding guys, you should totally read this book if you like slasher movies and spicy books! Seeing exactly why Ghostface goes after each victim allows the reader to really understand their motives. And Eisley’s friends… I hated them soooo much! Normally I don’t root for the bad guys… but really they are just extremely morally gray! And I mean… who wouldn’t want two hot men wanting you???? Where to buy!!! Ebook and physical copy:  Amazon ...

Duchess Material!

Image
So, I'm a bit late on getting this posted... but Duchess Material CAME OUT!!!! I will post down below where all you can find a copy at... but first, my review from a couple of months ago when I was an arc reviewer for this book. ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5 Omg! I loved this book! It was so adorable and the love that Natalie and Ed as well as Winston and Lucy have is just adorable! I disliked how George acted with learning about Winston and Lucy since I felt like he was putting off the energy that she didn’t deserved to be happy. The biggest thing that I’m looking forward to is seeing what comes of Natalie and Ed and if they might become engaged by the middle or end of book 3. I also felt like this book out shines book 1 since it builds even more on the relationships that formed mid to the end of book 1. Where to buy! Physical only:  Barnes&Noble Ebook and physical:  Amazon Is also on KU!!!

Three Dark Crowns Book Review

Image
This is a few days late because I was moving but here is my review of Three Dark Crowns! I finished this on September 20th and I gave it ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5 stars. While this is the first book in the series, I always read the prequels first because I like to get to know the characters before hitting the first book. This allows me to be able to really have a huge understanding on the wants and needs of all three Queens and their towns. I'm going to start with the eldest Queen. Mirabella is the elemental queen who everyone says will win the crown. But her issue is that she still loves her sisters and she doesn't want to kill them. Her loves goes beyond her sisters to her foster family. She wants everyone to be safe and happy. But when she starts to realize that her dreams are real, she decides to run away. While on the road, she saves Joseph, the naturalist boy that is friends with Arsinoe. They have a wild night and fall for each other but Joseph is torn between his new feelings for her an...

Image
Hey guys! It's release day for A Court of Broken Promises by Bella Leigh Michaels!! I am so excited for her and the fact that this book is FINALLY out! I will link all of the ways that you can order the book down below but let's talk so more about this book since I reviewed this before starting my blog. So, the book starts of with the main character, Kaia, is jail for a crime that she had no knowledge about. But then in an unlikely event, she is broken out of jail by a group of five unlikely men, the major one being Ash, the next in line to the throne of Adaria and the boy who she has always had an attraction to but also kind of hated. Though on the way out of the kingdom, the group loses a member and it hits Kaia hard. While on the run from the kingdom, Kaia slowly starts to get to know each of the men before she starts to develop feelings for each of them. Ash (fire user): she has known him all of her life and ever since she a teenager, she has had a strong attraction to hi...

Cursed Coven Review *Spoilers!!!!!!!

Image
I was gifted an ARC copy by Kara but this review is completely free from biases. Wow… first of all, why the heck did it have to end in a cliffhanger! I went into this book believing that it was a stand-alone and now I need more! I need to know what happens once they get to their new home! Okay, the fact that Leif and Octavia were one of the most perfect enemies to lovers in a twisted sort of way was done perfectly. Well, I guess they weren’t originally enemies until he met the other three… But the story behind Leif and Octavia was done so beautifully and I just loved them together! I also want to see a romance happen between Tripp and June! So when I got to the point where Leif and his family were planning things out, I kind of had an inkling that they might have been the four children that went missing and boy was I right! I also loved that how they found out was due to Octavia asking Leif to come with her to Salem!  I really loved how slowly (but not so slowly) all eight of...

September 13th Book Reviews!

Image
So, whenever I finish multiple books in a day, I will do my review of them under one post. These Shallow Graves by Jennifer Donnelly ⭐⭐.5 I wasn’t sure what I was going to think about with this book. It took me a long time to really get into it and if it hadn’t have been for listening to it as an audiobook, I probably would’ve DNF it. I was able to figure who was behind everything before Jo and Eddie. Though I wouldn’t say that it wasn’t because it was the classic case of “who done it” since it did have a lot of nice twists and turns. Seven Dirty Secrets by Natalie D. Richards ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I NEEDED a quick read! Okay, so I’m giving this book 4⭐️ because while I do enjoy Natalie’s book, I did feel like this one was a bit on the predictable side of things. I really enjoyed that this book went back and forth between what happened on that rafting trip and the present. Also those clues were great! Cleo and Conner’s sibling relationship was done so well! As was really all of the relationships w...

A bit about me!

Image
Hi, my name is Ashley Freeman and one of my greatest passions in life is reading. I don't know about you guys, but reading has always been held so near and dear to my heart and I will forever love it. This post is supposed to be about me and frankly, I do hate talking about myself but I'm going to try. I was originally born and raised in Midlothian, Texas which is a tiny town and I am the youngest of three girls. My mom and dad were together up until I turned 16, but to this day, them getting a divorce was the best decision that they could've ever made. I have two lovely older sisters and as well as two older step-sisters once my dad had married my step-mom back in 2013. Five years ago, I met the love of my life, Daniel, and we both packed up our lives at the end of 2020 to move back to his hometown, Phoenix, Arizona. I'm so thankful that I have him in my life and next year on our anniversary, I will become his wife. I am also still a college student - I know that...
